Join us for our Harriton Historic Skills Series: Pocket Workshop with Marie Caron. Marie will give a presentation of her research into the fascinating history of the pocket. In the 18th century, pockets were a separate accessory and a vital part of every women's wardrobe. Following Marie's presentation, she will get participants started on sewing their own 18th century style pocket. A list of supplies will be provided to participants upon registration. Knowledge of basic hand-sewing skills is recommended.
The class size is limited to 12 people.
